We pick you up at 07:00-07:30 from the hotel, we drive to the south route to the highest mountain in Thailand. We will visit the highest peak of the mountain, summit is 2565 meters from the sea level, beautiful King and Queen pagodas surrounded with winter flowers gardens, we visit Wachiratharn waterfall and have lunch in a restaurant surrounded with green nature, we have sight seeing tours and walking tour options. Trekking option is a good choice to walk down the hill about 2 hours, walking along the rain forest walking trail with water fall along the way, and arrive to the Karen hill tribe village where they grow coffee and vegetable King Project organic farms.

                                 Doi Inthanon Brief Story

Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand 2,565 meters located in the natural park of about 500 kilometers. It is at least a two hours drive southwest of Chiang Mai city. The name of the mountain was named after King Inthanon.  Along the way up to the highest peak, there are many hill tribe villages of Karen and Hmong tribes, they are the indigenous people who live there for many hundred years and nowadays we can see they grow flowers and vegetables for the royal projects,  there are also a few beautiful waterfall to visit, the most famous is named  Wachirathan Waterfall where people usually visit before continue up to the highest peak of the mountain. Doi Inthanon is also well known for the 2 beautiful stupas in honor of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit all surrounded by rhododendrons flowers among nature. The mountain is part of the Himalayan mountain range. It is home to 360 bird species making it one of the best places to go bird watching. It is also very popular for the natural trekking trail walk along the river and waterfall trail to the hill tribe villages. The best time to visit Doi Inthanon National Park is in November – February.
