Chiang Rai Brief Story

Chiang Rai, founded in 1262 by King Meng Rai, was the first capital of the Lanna Thai

Kingdom which was later conquered by Burma. And the year 1786 became a Thai territory and was proclaimed a province during the reign of King Rama VI in 1910. The province  is 785 kilometers north of Bangkok. The province which is located within the renowned Golden Triangle of Myanmar, Laos and Southern China. In the past it was the way to drug smuggling across borders. The Mekong River is the world’s twelfth longest river and the third longest in Asia. Started from Tibet to China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia,  Vietnam. Chiang Rai has many beautiful places to visit for tourists. The main well known  on our tour program are Wat Rong Khun  White Temple, and Mekong River at Golden Triangle.

3 Days 2 Nights programme

Day 1

Pick up from the hotel at 08:30 to visit orchid farm, and continue to visit Chiang Dao cave, we will have lunch in a local restaurant and continue to Thaton village and then continue to sleep in Mae Salong Chinese village.

Day 2

Pick up from the hotel at 08:30 to visit local hill tribe market and tea plantation. After that we continue to visit a monkey temple and  Mae Sai border only on Thailand side. we will have lunch and continue to Golden triangle to ride the boat on Mae Kong river, then we drive to sleep in Chiang Rai city, we will have dinner at the night market Chiang Rai.

Day 3

Pick up at 08:30 to visit longnect village, then to visit Black house museum, then we continue to visit Blue Temple, we will have local lunch and visit White temple, then we will stop to visit at hot spring and back to Chiang Mai.
